VF Named a 'World's Most Admired Company' for 23rd Consecutive Year

March 28, 2018

Fortune magazine has once again named VF one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies.” This marks the 23rd consecutive year that VF has made the list.

“It’s an honor to again be recognized as one of the world’s most admired companies and be associated with so many well-known brands,” said Scott Deitz, VF’s Vice President of Public Affairs. “Our continued ranking by Fortune reinforces that we’re taking the right steps, in a responsible way, to grow and create innovative products and brand experiences for our consumers, while fostering a culture where associates can thrive.”

VF ranked No. 2 among apparel companies, with noted improvements over last year’s rankings in three categories: corporate assets, financial soundness and quality of products/services.

To determine the rankings, Fortune teamed up with executive search and recruiting firm Korn Ferry and asked executives, directors and analysts to rate companies in their industry on nine criteria, including innovation, people management and long-term investment value.
